Georgina Wilson’s Monique Lhuillier wedding dress included in Vogue Australia's 'Best Wedding Dresses' feature

The Australian edition of fashion magazine Vogue ran a feature called “The Best Wedding Dresses Vogue Brides Has Ever Seen” in which editors listed 48 of the most gorgeous wedding gowns they’ve seen on the annually-released magazine Vogue Brides.

And included in the list is Georgina Wilson’s Monique Lhuillier wedding dress that she wore to her “classic English wedding” in 2017.

“I searched for a few months. It was a lot of more difficult than I thought it would be! I knew I wanted ta long-sleeved dress and I wanted it to look quite classic. With those guidelines, I looked at about every dress available and feel in love with a Monique Lhuillier dress,” Georgina was quoted in the article.

On her Instagram Stories Monday, Georgina posted screengrabs of the feature and thanked Vogue.

The Cebuana fashion designer appeared three more times in the list: Sally Panton’s Mornington Peninsula vineyard Wedding (entry no. 11), Australian actress Trilby Glover’s Santa Ynez wedding (entry no. 15), and communications manager Pip Dickson’s Sydney Wedding (entry no. 45).

All brides mentioned Lhuillier’s classic and romantic style, with Trilby Glover extolling excitedly on the fact that her chosen dress had wings. “The sales assistant told me that the little winds on the back could be taken off and I was like, ‘Wait, this dress has wings? I think this is the dress for me!” she was quoted in the feature.

According to Danielle Gay, “Each annual edition of Vogue Brides comes with it the most elegant of real weddings. The inspiring nuptials that fill the pages are set in some rather spectacular locations around the world but the best part of these weddings is undeniably the dresses.”
