10 pet-friendly malls in Metro Manila
The good news is, more and more malls in Metro Manila are changing their policies and allowing our furry friends into their premises.
Enter Araneta Center. The big Cubao hang-out on Sunday finally changed their rules on pets, allowing shoppers to take their pets as they stroll down Gateway Mall, Ali Mall, and Farmers Plaza.

All pet-owners need to do is get Kuting a Pet Pals ID. Submit an original and photocopy of your pet’s rabies vaccination later, 1x1 photo ID, and a completed form. The ID is free.
In case you have yet to complete the requirements, temporary Pet Pals Day Pass will be issued.
But with this freedom comes responsibility: Pet owners are expected to keep their pets on a leash, carry them while riding escalators and elevators, and to clean up their waste!
With this piece of goof news (get it? Get it?), allow us to list down 9 more pet-friendly malls in Metro Manila
1. Podium
Marvel at the new Podium’s sci-fi futuristic design (and all its great eats!) with your pet in tow! Just make sure you have your dog wearing a diaper and inside a bag (or a stroller).
2. Eastwood
One of the earliest malls to adapt a pet-friendly policy, Eastwood Mall continues to be a pet haven in the city. Register your pet at the concierge desk for a pet pass.
3. SM Aura. Much like Podium, SM Aura in Taguig marries shopping enjoyment with responsible pet parenthood and by requiring pets be put inside bags, and wearing a diaper.
4. Bonifacio High Street
Quite possibly one of the friendliest to animals, the long stretch of open-air shopping experience remains as friendly to pets as it is to pedestrians. Hello wellness!
5. Tiendesitas
Popular for its pet shop (building C, people), Tiendesitas doesn’t have much fine print to its pet policy – just make sure you clean up after your dog!
6. Powerplant. Much like Eastwood and Araneta, Powerplant Mall in Makati will require pet owners to register them at the concierge. Bring your pet’s latest anti-rabies record and photo. IDs last until the rabies vaccination date. But it goes without saying: you can't bring your dogs to the cinemas or the chapel.
7. Estancia
This Ortigas mall in Pasig only requires pet owners to have dogs or cats in a leash and to clean up after their pets!
8. Trinoma. As long as the pets are put in a stroller or a bag, they are welcome in Trinoma.
9. Ayala Malls the 30th
The Ayala Mall in Pasig welcomes pets in its premises, under three conditions: owners must have them on a leash, animals must be wearing diapers, and dogs must be wearing a mouth gear. "For security purposes," tells the employee whom GMA Lifestyle spoke with on the phone. — LA/BAP, GMA News
