Celebrities and politicians who wore Mindanao-inspired outfits at the SONA 2017

Mindanao-inspired outfits ruled the red carpet of President Duterte’s second State of the Nation Address.

Many politicians and their guests kept to the requested dress code and wore Mindanao-inspired outfits for the second State of the Nation Address of President Duterte. There was Senator Loren Legarda who went next level and wore two different Maranao-inspired outfits all through Monday, and then there were individuals like Heart Evangelista who went subtle with her inspiration, donning a sharp patterned blazer by fashion designer Boom Sason.
