‘Final Destination: Bloodlines’ sends chill in new trailer

“Final Destination: Bloodlines” just released a new trailer and it’s chilling as ever!
Warner Bros. dropped the 140-second trailer on YouTube, opening a family gathering at a backyard, with things suddenly taking a wrong turn when a glass of water broke, a grill caught fire, a trampoline collapsed and a lawn mower malfunctioned.
One scene also showed Grandmother Iris saying “death is coming for our family” and explained that years ago, she had a "premonition" about death and saved several people from it.
“Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie (Katilyn Sta. Juana) heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all,” the caption read.
Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, the film comes 14 years after "Final Destination 5" premiered in 2011.
Created by Jeffrey Reddick, "Final Destination" is a film franchise that revolves around a group of people who escape impending death after one of them gets a premonition about a tragic event. The first film was released in 2000.
“Final Destination: Bloodlines” will hit Philippine theaters on May 14.
