Eraserheads are back again for another concert!
The end credit scene of the documentary, “Combo On The Run,” reveals the upcoming concert will be titled “Electric Fun Festival.” It will be held on May 31 at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque.
“Oh, we're ready, we’re so ready," Ely Buendia said at the press preview earlier this week.
While seating plan, ticket prices, remain under wraps.
Another surprise worth waiting for at the end credits? The band teasing a brand-new song, sparking speculation about an upcoming release in the future.
"Combo on the Run" is the much awaited documentary by director Diane Ventura. It is screening in 150 cinemas nationwide beginning today, March 21 and just until Sunday, March 23.
Composed of Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy, and Marcus, Eraserheads is the seminal '90s rock band that spearheaded the revival of Pinoy Rock that decade. Among their many hit songs are "Ang Huling El Bimbo," "With A Smile," and "Ligaya."
They famously disbanded in 2002, had a dramatic double reunion in the following years, before coming together in 2022 for the "Huling El Bimbo" concert that they took to the U.S., Canada, the Middle East, and Australia.
