Doug Kramer pens encouraging message for daughter Scarlett after she changes sports

Doug Kramer is an encouraging dad as his daughter Scarlett changed her main sport from taekwondo to tennis.
In an Instagram post, the basketball player and Team Kramer patriarch posted snaps of Scarlett in action on the tennis court, and said “It was a tough decision for Scar, coming from the first sport she truly liked to do."
According to Doug, when Scarlett shifted from taekwondo to tennis over a year ago, "Some tears were shed."
"But she wanted to find a sport she can love, grow and embrace," he continued.
Scarlett has no regrets so far, and a lot of lessons to bring into her tennis journey, the proud father wrote.
“We're all looking forward to our warrior princess to hit the court and compete again. And as you can see, her smile while playing says it all,” Doug said.
in his post, he took the opportunity to ask his followers to help uplift his 13-year-old, saying, “when you see her compete and give her all during matches this year, don't bring her down, but encourage and support a child that has found a new passion."
He also reminded Scarlett that “Daddy and Mommy are right here to support and love you no matter the outcome.”
Doug and Chesca Garcia have been married since 2008. Aside from Scarlett, their two kids are Kendra and Gavin.
