SZA to join Kendrick Lamar at Super Bowl Halftime Show

Kendrick Lamar just revealed that his special guest star at the Super Bowl Halftime Show is none other than SZA.

The rapper announced this in a joint Instagram Reel showing him at a football field, mid-phone call while a group marches behind him.

“You know this field a lot bigger than people think so that’s a must. Exactly. Now, I been thinking about a guest performer,” Kendrick says.

He gets cut off by SZA, who suddenly pours a cooler of blue drink over him.

Kendrick and SZA have collaborated several times before. They performed “All the Stars” for the “Black Panther” soundtrack. SZA was featured in Kendrick’s track “Luther,” and he was part of the singer-songwriter’s song, “30 for 30.”

Kendrick was revealed to be the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show performer in November.

The 17-time Grammy Award winner previously performed as a guest artist with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige at Super Bowl LVI in 2022.

Kendrick is best known for the songs “Not Like Us,” “Humble,” and “Backseat Freestyle,” among many others.

SZA, meanwhile, is popular for “Saturn,” “Kill Bill,” “Snooze,” and many more.
