IU and Park Bo Gum’s new drama to premiere on Netflix in March
IU and Park Bo Gum’s much-awaited drama, “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” is premiering on Netflix on March 7.
The streaming service announced the premiere date with an intriguing one-minute teaser.
The video showed the lead actors walking hand-in-hand across a scenic field, and hinted that they are running away from conflict.
According to the YouTube video description, “’When Life Gives You Tangerines’ follows the adventures of Ae-sun, ‘the remarkable rebel,’ and Gwan-sik, nicknamed ‘unyielding iron,’ through four vibrant seasons on Jeju Island.”
The series was confirmed in January 2024.
IU and Park Bo Gum previously worked together for the show "Thank You for Your Hard Work."
Park Bo Gum is popular for his roles in "Reply 1988," "Record of Youth," "Encounter," and "Love in the Moonlight." He visited Manila in 2019 for a fan meet.
IU, meanwhile, is a top Korean singer known for “Lilac,” “Bbibbi,” “Blueming,” and many more. She was in the Philippines in 2024 for her H.E.R.E.H. concert tour.
