SEVENTEEN pop-up store officially opens at MOA
A SEVENTEEN pop-up store has officiall opened at the Mall of Asia on Wednesday.
But it's not just any SEVENTEEN pop-up store, it's an “Artist-Made Collection by SEVENTEEN” pop-up store.
Located at the 3rd level, North Main Mall, the physical store is fully stocked with customized items made by the 13 members of the K-Pop group, and personalized for a conducive shopping experience for CARATs.
“[The project intends] to showcase each member’s creativity and personality in the process,” said Agno Almario from Apopcollections, who organized the store.
The items vary for every member: From self-designed kitchenware to plushies, from DIY perfume kits to mechanical keyboards and more.
Adding a local touch are keyrings with charms that are made by local producers. These items are available for fans to pick and personalize as they wish.
For every purchase of an artist-made product, CARATs will be treated to an exclusive postcard.
SEVENTEEN will be holding their concert “SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE” at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on January 18 and 19, and ahead of the concert, CARAT lightsticks will be made available. Each fan is allowed one free acrylic charm for every purchase.
All items will be available until stocks last.
“We planned very much ahead of time... It’s a nice complement to the entire experience,” said Almario.
Since the event was announced, fans have been excited to visit the store to purchase their own products customized by their favorite members.
“First time ko pong pumunta dito, pumila. Exciting siya sakin kasi malapit lang siya sakin, so convenient ako,” said Gabriel Garcia, who was first in line.
(This is the first time I went here to fall in line. It’s exciting because it’s near me, so I’m convenient.)
Gabriel, who fell in line starting 4:50 a.m., said he was hoping to purchase keyrings and products made by Hoshi.
“[The products] are a connection between the artist and the fans. Sa gantong paraan, parang napapakita ng artist kung paano nila vinavalue yung CARATs, and every design na ginawa nila is inisip nila kung magagamit ng CARATs, kung magugustuhan nila ang CARATs. Ang top priority nila is CARATs talaga,” added Aza Taguba, who had been in line since 6 a.m. to purchase keyrings and the Toram plushie by Jeonghan.
([The products] are a connection between the artist and the fans. In this way, the artist can show how much they value CARATs, and every design they did was with the thought of how CARATs would use and like it. Their top priority really is CARATs.)
The “Artist-Made Collection by SEVENTEEN” pop-up will be open until February 26.
