'Wicked' sing-along experience screening in over 100 PH cinemas

Universal Pictures Philippines has released a list of over 100 cinemas that are screening the sing-along version of “Wicked” in the country starting January 8.

Avid fans of "Wicked" will be able to sing along to iconic songs of the film such as “What is this Feeling?” “Dancing Through Life,” “Popular,” and “Defying Gravity” among others with fellow fans inside the cinemas.

The "Wicked" film premiered in the Philippines last November. It is directed by Jon M. Chu, and stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba or the Wicked Witch of the West and American popstar Ariana Grande as Glinda or the Good Witch.

The cast also included "Bridgerton" star Jonathan Bailey as Prince Fiyero Tiglaar,  Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, and Broadway actor Ethan Slater as Boq, among others.

The second part of the film, “Wicked: For Good,” is set to be released on November 21, 2025.
