Rosé of Blackpink drops debut solo album ‘Rosie’
Rosé of Blackpink has finally released her long awaited debut solo album, "Rosie."
The album is comprised of 12 tracks including the previously released singles, “APT.” with Bruno Mars and “Number One Girl,” which is the first song in the tracklist.
Rosé also teased that a music video for “Toxic Till the End” is coming out on Friday at 1 p.m. In the teaser, she picks up a hitchhiker and narrates, “Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the ex.”
“Someone pinch me now. It’s all happening,” Rose said on Instagram. “Hope you all love it.”
In a previous post, Rosé said, “I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine.”
The singer also explained the meaning behind the album’s name.
“’Rosie’ - is the name I allow my friends and family to call me. With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me.”
Aside from her work with Blackpink, Rosé released the solo singles “On the Ground” and “Gone” from her 2021 single album “R.”
Rosé is signed with The Black Label, which is under YG Entertainment, and American label Atlantic Records.
