Red Velvet’s Irene makes solo debut with ‘Like a Flower’ mini-album, music video

Red Velvet’s Irene just made her solo debut!

Irene dropped her first mini-album, “Like a Flower," and the music video of its title track.

The EP has eight songs, including two special tracks "Ka-Ching" and "I Feel Pretty."

In the “Like a Flower” music video, Irene stuns with a vintage aesthetic and also flexes her dance skills with a group. The K-pop star sings about self-love, courage, and that she is “growing like a flower.”

Before the album's release, Irene shared photo teasers featuring her in various destinations such as an empty lake, a desert, and an antique shop.

Red Velvet made a comeback in June with the album, “Cosmic.”

The ladies were in Manila in September for a fan con at the SM Mall of Asia Arena as part of their "My Dear, ReVe1uv Fancon Tour."

Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy were also in Manila in December 2023 to perform at a New Year's Eve countdown.

Red Velvet debuted in 2014 with the song "Happiness,” and is composed of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri.
