Anthony Mackie shares spoiler for 'Captain America: Brave New World'

Anthony Mackie gave fans a teaser of what to expect from “Captain America: Brave New World!”

The actor appeared at the Disney Content Showcase APAC 2024 held in Singapore.

In a video taken by GMA Integrated News' Lyn Ching, the new Captain America said, “In this movie, we reveal a new suit.”

Anthony added the new suit was given to the Avenger by the Wakandians, “which will give him agility and more power.”

“So that’s how he’s able to take on the Red Hawk.”

Anthony also said that he is looking forward to fans seeing the upcoming movie.

“It’s action-packed, it’s grounded. It’s just an amazing movie with a lot of great characters, so I’m excited for you guys to see the new characters–some, we’re bringing back, some we’re introducing,” Anthony said.

“There’s a lot of ass-kicking so if you like ass-kicking, you’ll enjoy it,” he added.

“Captain America: Brave New World” premieres in 2025 as part of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Anthony plays Sam Wilson, or the new Captain America. The new president of the United States, Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), expresses intent on having Captain America work with the government.

A threat comes in the form of a supersoldier attacking the president.

Sam Wilson was last seen in "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," which concluded Steve Rogers' (Chris Evans) era and paved the way for Falcon to shine as the new Captain America. —Nika Roque, with reports from Lyn Ching/JCB, GMA Integrated News
