'How To Train Your Dragon' live action film launches teaser trailer

Hiccup and Toothless are brought to life as Dreamworks releases the first trailer for the live action adaptation of its animated classic, "How To Train Your Dragon."

The teaser brings viewers back to Berk, a Viking village committed to slaying dragons. Just like in the original film, the chief's son, Hiccup, encounters an injured Toothless, and sets him free. The teaser recreates the touching moment when the pair makes their first connection.

The live action adaptation of "How To Train Your Dragon" was first announced in 2023. Original writer and director Dean DeBlois returned to helm the film.
