Jin of BTS releases debut solo album ‘Happy,’ MV for ‘Running Wild’
Jin of BTS has finally debuted his first full-length solo album, "Happy!"
The South Korean superstar also released the music video for the main single, “Running Wild” on Friday.
In the full English pop-rock song, Jin sings about not giving up on love. Gary Barlow of British group Take That co-produced the single.
The music video shows Jin going on adventures with an adorable dog. They went to a vintage store, the cinema, the beach, a bridge in the city, and a fancy mansion. Then, as comets hit the earth, Jin has his furry companion by his side.
“Happy” has six songs “each with its own unique vibe, all grounded in a band sound,” the BTS Weverse page described.
Red Velvet’s Wendy is featured in the song “Heart on the Window,” with American singer Max as a co-writer in the pre-release track, “I’ll Be There.”
Jin was discharged from his mandatory military service in June.
His first solo single, “The Astronaut” was released in 2022. In October, Jin released the full version of his catchy hit, “Super Tuna.” —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
