Jin of BTS to make solo debut on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'
Worldwide Handsome is all set to make his solo late night debut!
Jin of BTS will be a guest star on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on November 20.
The South Korean superstar's appearance was announced through a 30-second teaser video. Jimmy opens a “top secret” envelope that has a floppy disk, with a poster printed with the word “Happy” in the background. When he inserts it into an old-school computer, Jin’s photo slowly appears as a pop song with his vocals playing in the background.
Previously, Jin's fellow BTS members SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook also made their late night solo debuts on Fallon.
Jin’s debut solo album “Happy,” comes out on November 15, Friday.
It will have six songs “each with its own unique vibe, all grounded in a band sound,” an announcement on the BTS Weverse page said.
Red Velvet’s Wendy is featured in one song, with American singer Max and Take That member Gary Barlow among the producers.
Ahead of the album’s release Jin dropped the pop-rock track, “I’ll Be There.”
For the album’s concept photos, Jin exuded popular leading man energy in the “Journey” set.
Jin was discharged from his mandatory military service in June.
His first solo single, “The Astronaut” was released in 2022. In October, Jin released the full version of his catchy hit, “Super Tuna.”
