‘Orphan 3’ is in the works!

The third film of the hit horror franchise “Orphan” is in the works!

The news was confirmed by entertainment company Dark Castle Entertainment, with William Brent Bell, the filmmaker behind “Orphan: First Kill” will be back as its director. 

According to a report by Variety, lead star Isabelle Fuhrman will reprise her role.

“Dark Castle is excited to announce another terrifying chapter in the ‘Orphan’ saga,” Norman Golightly, Co-CEO of Dark Castle Entertainment said. 

“With the past success of the first two movies and another thrilling storyline, we are confident that ‘Orphan 3’ will be a must-see movie for both current fans of the franchise, and new fans alike,” he added.

“Orphan” follows the story of a couple, who, after the death of their unborn child, adopt a psychopathic nine-year-old girl named Esther with a mysterious past. 

The first film was released in 2009, while its sequel “Orphan: First Kill” premiered in 2022.
