Anik-anik craze: 7 Filipino celebrities who are bag charm collectors
The anik-anik craze is on in the country, and among the items that have become popular these days are the cute bag charms that come in the form of plushies or toys.
It has been going on for quite some time now and even celebrities are hopping on the trend, flaunting these adorable charms on their bags.
Here are seven celebrities who are proud of their anik-anik collections.
1. Marian Rivera
The Kapuso Primetime Queen has found a new joy in collecting plushies and bag charms, particularly Labubu dolls designed by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung.
Aside from Labubu collectibles, Marian also has three Molly Figures, one of which was a gift from her husband Dingdong Dantes.
"Sabi ko nga parang bumalik ako dun sa pagkabata na why not, 'di ba? Parang minsan kailangan mo yatang bumabalik doon para bumabalik sa sa energy mo," she said in an interview with GMA News Online.
2. Heart Evangelista
Heart Evangelista is also an anik-anik collector.
In a previous Instagram post, the Global Fashion Icon shared a photo of her Labubu bag charm collections.
Heart also shared a mini-vlog of her shopping for Labubu plushies in a store in Bangkok, Thailand. She even named one of them "Fred" and put it as a charm in her Hermes bag.
3. Nadine Samonte
Nadine Samonte has previously shared her Royal Molly collection on social media.
Aside from her Royal Molly toys, the "Forever Young" star is also a collector of cute plushies and bag charms.
In a previous Instagram post, Nadine shared a video of her with her daughter Heather unboxing Nommi Loveliness Never Ends Series plushies.

Filipino-American social media star Bretman Rock is another celebrity who is into bag charm collecting.
On TikTok, Bretman showed his various charm collections such as the Powerpuff Girls Crybaby, 15 pieces of Sonny Angels, and six Labubu plushies.
6. Ruffa Gutierrez
Ruffa Gutierrez is rediscovering her inner child with her plushies collection.
On Instagram, the actress shared a couple of photos of her plushies and bag charms from Labubu, Liila Lucky Cat and Cry Baby x Powerpuff Girls collections.
She even had her two Labubu plushies wear customized clothes, shoes, and hats from luxury brands.
7. Annabelle Rama
Annabelle Rama is proof that collecting toys knows no age.
On her daughter Ruffa's Instagram post, the 71-year-old actress can be seen holding a Hermes bag decorated with different bag charms from Labubu and Liila Lucky Cat collections.
