'Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle' is heading to Netflix Asia this October
To those who missed the epic battle between Karasuno and Nekoma in cinemas, there might still be hope!
Netflix on Thursday announced that "Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle" will be streaming on its platform in select regions in Asia starting October 31.
The streaming giant has yet to specify in which regions the film will be available.
"Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle" centers on the long-awaited match between rival volleyball teams Karasuno and Nekoma. The film arrived in Philippine cinemas in May 15.
Based on the manga by Haruichi Furudate, "Haikyuu" follows the story of Hinata Shoyo, who wishes to become a volleyball star like the "Little Giant," and joins the Karasuno High School Volleyball Team. Arguably their biggest rival is the Nekoma High School Volleyball Team, led by captain Kuroo Tetsuro and setter Kozume Kenma.
The anime adaptation began airing in 2014. The manga ended in July 2020.
The long-standing feud between Hinata and Kenma finally comes to an end as Karasuno and Nekoma go head-to-head at the National Championships. ????
