Komiket: Comics, stickers, prints, more await at art market on October 12

Komiket is back — and it's bigger and better than before.

The Filipino comics art market will be held this weekend, October 12 and 13 (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.), at Megatrade Halls 2 &3, SM Megamall, in Mandaluyong City. The event will feature a slew of exhibitors comprising local comics creators, artists, writers, and crafters.

Some of the exhibitors who will grace Komiket include Hulyen, Kitsickles, Pulsar Press, Clayground & Beyond, artistnawmi, Luk Scrts x Hippie Pixie, Daloy Studio, South Artists, and more.

Aside from comics, there will be zines, stickers, prints, trinkets, and other merchandise up for grabs at the event.

Exciting giveaways and exclusive prizes also await! The first 1,000 attendees at Komiket will get a free copy of the Kommunity 2024 anthology, which features 20 new comics from Mello & Scoffly, Paola Paperie, Tristan Yuvienco, Cy, Kahon Bear, Everything Miming, Chen, Antemalee, Macaroll, Artiodaktyl, Megel, Magmar Deuna, Mel Casipit, Nat & Dar, Zen_Penpen, Radulf, electromilk, Jann Leyba, Atrxsk, and StephB.

Attendees can also join the Komiket Stamp Rally where participants must buy one item from each section until they complete 11 komets to win a special prize.

This October's Komiket will apply event improvements that it first introduced in July and August at the Philippine International Comics Festival and Komiket Ortigas, respectively.

Attendees and exhibitors can expect wider lanes at the two-day event, as well as water stations in four corners of the floor for exhibitors, crowd safety officers for improved crowd control, and section marshals for other concerns.

Entrance to Komiket is priced at P100.
