'Moana 2' gives glimpse of villain in new trailer

Moana is off to save another cursed island in the latest trailer of "Moana 2" shared by Disney.

The trailer gives a glimpse of the dangers that Moana and her crew will be facing — aside from the dangers of exploring long lost waters, they also seem to be getting on the bad side of an angry god.

"If you try to reconnect the people, you will be destroyed," comes the ominous threat from the mysterious new character Matangi (Awhimai Fraser).

Earlier trailers also revealed that Moana has a younger sister, Simea, and that well-loved characters, such as Maui, will return.

Disney formally announced "Moana 2" in February.

Directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller, it will arrive in theaters on November 27. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
