YG Entertainment to hold a global audition in the Philippines in November

Want to become a K-pop idol?

This is your chance to take a shot at that dream as South Korean entertainment label YG Entertainment will be holding a global audition in the Philippines!

According to its social media post, the audition will be held on November 24 at Zero Studios in Quezon City.

The audition is open to anyone born between 2006 to 2013. Applicants can choose one category to showcase: vocal, rap, dance, or appearance.

Those interested to apply must pre-register through YG Audition's website by November 10. Both photos and videos must be attached when pre-registering.

Once pre-registration ends, chosen applicants will receive a confirmation email for the second audition. The confirmation email will be sent on November 20.

Aside from the Philippines, YG Entertainment will also hold auditions in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United States, Malaysia, Indonesia, Canada, Vietnam, and Thailand.

Founded in 1996 by Yang Hyun Suk, YG is among the top entertainment labels in South Korea. It is home to some of the biggest K-pop groups in the world such as BIGBANG, Blackpink, and 2NE1.
