'Avatar: The Last Airbender' is getting an RPG game —report

An "Avatar: The Last Airbender" AAA RPG game is reportedly in development!

According to an exclusive report on IGN, Paramount Game Studios and Saber Interactive said the action game is set in the Avatar Legends universe, which is based on the world of the original Nickelodeon cartoon.

The report added that the project is in in collaboration with Avatar Studios, which was launched by original show creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko in 2021.

Game developers are reportedly calling it "the biggest video game in franchise history."

The game allows players to take on the role of an all-new Avatar, who will have to master all four elements and fight enemies.

It is set for release on PC and consoles.

"Avatar: The Last Airbender" is well-loved cartoon that aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. The story follows Avatar Aang as he masters all four elements in an attempt to end the war and unite all four nations.

A live action adaptation was released by Netflix in February.

It has been renewed for Seasons 2 and 3. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
