Lisa of Blackpink drops new single 'Moonlit Floor'
Lisa of Blackpink is back with a new song!
The Thai singer released “Moonlit Floor,” which samples the ‘90s hit “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None the Richer, on Friday.
In the song, Lisa gushes over a “green-eyed French boy.”
On Instagram, Lisa expressed excitement that her “first sweet song” has been released.
“This song is so special because I grew up listening to ‘Kiss Me’ as a child and I now get to have my own version of this song,” she said.
“Moonlit Floor” is Lisa’s third single of the year, following “Rockstar” and “New Woman” featuring Spanish singer Rosalia.
She performed the song at the Global Citizen Festival last weekend.
Lisa won the MTV Video Music Award for Best K-Pop for “Rockstar” in September.
She is set to headline the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show alongside African popstar Tyla and pop legend Cher on October 15.
More of Lisa’s solo songs include “LALISA,” “Money,” and a feature in “Shoong” by BIGBANG’s Taeyang. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
