Ben&Ben reveals new album 'The Traveller Across Dimensions' will have an animated story
Ben&Ben is all set to give fans an out of this world experience.
The folk-pop band’s upcoming third album, “The Traveller Across Dimensions,” is a collection of 12 songs with an animated story.
On Facebook, they shared that the album is divided into three dimensions: Light (Innocence), Energy (Struggle), and Feel (Maturity).
The concept album follows the title character Liwanag — also the name of Ben&Ben’s fanbase — who belongs to the mysterious race of interdimensional beings called Travellers. As she travels to different dimensions to collect the Light, Energy, and Feel Wisdoms to complete her Lifecrest, she writes songs to reflect on her journey. With each song, Liwanag tries to answer the question: “How must we live?”
It also features the characters Gabay, Puhon, and Mahiwaga who all play a role in Liwanag’s journey.
Two singles from “The Traveller Across Dimensions” will be released on October 18 and November 29.
“The Traveller Across Dimensions” will be released on November 29. The storyline and other details are up on Ben&Ben’s social media pages.
Ben&Ben’s most recent release was the heartbreaking song “Comets,” which dropped in May. Their collaboration with SB19 “Kapangyarihan,” is the theme song for the GMA Network historical series, “Pulang Araw.”
In 2023, Ben&Ben released the singles “Could be Something,” “Courage,” and “Autumn.” That year, the folk-pop band was the Philippines' no. 1 streamed OPM artist on Spotify.
