'The Last of Us' Season 2 releases ominous teaser

The past is catching up to Joel and Ellie in the teaser of "The Last of Us" Season 2.

In the two-minute teaser, Catherine O'Hara is introduced as a therapist, and she asks Joel (Pedro Pascal): "What did you do?"

The upcoming season tackles Ellie finding out exactly what Joel did in the finale of Season 1, unraveling his lies.

In between violent scenes of zombies, the teaser also shows Ellie (Bella Ramsey) playing the guitar with Joel, and bonding with her girlfriend Dina (Isabela Merced).

"The Last of Us" Season 2 is set to return to HBO Max in 2025.

The show is based on the 2013 action-adventure Playstation game that features Joel, a smuggler escorting teenage girl Ellie. Together they fight hostile cannibalistic creatures. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
