Netflix's 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' announces Toph Beifong actress

Make way for Toph Beifong!

Netflix has finally announced the casting for the fan favorite character in "Avatar: The Last Airbender." The coolest earth bender around will be played by Miya Cech!

Miya joins the live action main cast comprised of Gorden Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, and Dallas Liu as Zuko.

"Avatar: The Last Airbender" premiered on Netflix on February 22.

The show is based on the widely popular Nickelodeon animated series that ran from 2005 to 2008. The story follows Aang and his friends as they hone their skills and attempt to end the Hundred Year War in order to bring back peace among the four nations.

Netflix renewed the show for Seasons 2 and 3 two weeks after its successful first season.
