Enhypen announces anime series for their webtoon 'Dark Moon: Blood Altar'

K-Pop group Enhypen goes animated!

Japanese entertainment company Aniplex dropped the trailer for the TV animation of Enhypen’s “Dark Moon: The Blood Altar” series on YouTube on Monday.

The series was based off of the group’s webtoon series and novel in 2022, which follows an overall vampiric theme that reoccurs in the group’s music videos.

The story revolves around the animated versions of Enhypen as a group of boys fighting over a new transfer student Sooha and battling individual issues surrounding their pasts while studying in a prestigious school named Decelis Academy, which is for vampires and werewolves.

“Dark Moon” was also part of a collaboration with Korea’s Lotte World Theme Park in 2023, where Engenes were able to see the park’s castle dressed up as the webtoon’s academy.

The anime is set to stream on Crunchyroll.

No further details on the project have been announced as of the moment.

Enhypen is set to kick off their new world tour, “Walk The Line” in Goyang, South Korea on October 5 to 6, 2024, only months after concluding their Fate Plus world tour in Japan on September 1. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/JCB, GMA Integrated News
