The talks at the fair are free of charge, whereas workshops require pre-registration and fees to cover materials and resources.

Illustrator and designer Dan Matutina launched Manila Illustration Fair in 2023 with his design studio, Plus63 Design Co, with the goal to celebrate the growing community of illustrators in the Philippines.

The fair debuted with 20 Filipino artists, who were selected to showcase their original illustrations and portfolios. Manila Illustration Fair 2024 is organized by the featured artists from last year's fair, with support from friends and Plus63.
