TWICE's Tzuyu makes dreamy solo debut with 'Run Away,' mini album 'abouTZU'

Tzuyu of TWICE is a total dream girl in her debut solo single and music video, “Run Away.”

In the sultry pop track, the K-pop idol sings about giving chances to leave, because they would beg to stay with her once they get attached.

The music video mostly takes place in a mansion where Tzuyu captivates a man, dances with a group of women, and showcases her dreamy looks.

“Run Away” was released on the same day as Tzuyu’s debut mini-album, “abouTZU,” which has six new tracks.

Tzuyu’s solo debut was announced in August. The maknae is the third member of TWICE to have a solo career, following Nayeon and Jihyo.

Last June, TWICE was in Manila for a fan meeting, where they reunited with their Filo ONCEs and showed their competitive sides.

TWICE was in the country in 2023 for two sold-out shows at the Philippine Arena and said that Filo ONCEs are among the loudest crowds they’ve had. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
