Laufey surprises Filipino fans with 'Winter Wonderland' performance

Laufey welcomed the holidays Pinoy-style — in September!

The jazz-pop singer had her first arena concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Monday night, and she surprised Filipino fans with her rendition of the classic Christmas song, “Winter Wonderland.”

“I heard Filipinos start celebrating Christmas in September…” Laufey wrote in her Instagram Reel.

“A special wintery surprise for the Manila Lauvers,” she added in her caption.

Laufey was a goddess at her Bewitched: The Goddess Tour, where she performed for a packed crowd of all ages.

After the show, the singer said on Instagram, “Such an incredibly moving night in Manila. Thank you for braving the rainstorm to be with me and singing at the very top of your lungs for my first arena.”

Laufey was in Manila for two sold-out shows, Laufey: A Night at the Symphony with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra at the PICC Plenary Hall in Pasay City last May. While in the country, she feasted on Pinoy snacks.

In August, Laufey was photographed by Filipino photographer BJ Pascual for the cover of Tatler Hong Kong.

The artist is best known for the songs, “From the Start,” “Let You Break My Heart Again,” and “Valentine.” Her latest single, “Goddess” was released in March, and the album “Bewitched” dropped in 2023.
