Yudipota on surprise ending of 'Drag Race Philippines' Season 3, Episode 4: 'I stand by my decision'

[Editor's note: Contains spoilers]

The latest episode of "Drag Race Philippines" Season 3 ended unexpectedly, with Yudipota saving J Quinn after the former walked out during their lip sync battle and effectively eliminated herself.

In a Zoom interview with a select members of the press Friday, the queen from Bacolod said there wasn't anything that she would've done differently. "I stand by my decision," she said.

Yudi echoed what she earlier said in "Untucked," saying "leaving the show was choosing my peace."

She added leaving the show "is the best decision that I've made."

In Episode 4, Yudi received critical comments from the judges, for both the maxi challenge and her runway look, which they said looked incomplete.

She admitted to being "bummed" that she wasn't able to bring her complete look for the runway challenge, which had the theme 3D fractal extravaganza.

"I was bummed that I wasn't able to bring my piece because it was too big," Yudi continued.

According to Yudi, that was one the lessons she learned from her fellow queens and the show: "Not every detail is important. You just have to look 90% correct and it will flow well."

"I learned to do drag as quickly and as professionally when I'm with the girls. I took that to heart," the fashionista queen said. "This is really a profession."

John Fedellaga won the mini challenge, while Maxi won the maxi challenge for the second week in a row.

"Drag Race Philippines" Season 3 has been quite the surprise. It opened with two non-elimination episodes, and only started to send queens home on episode 3.

Yudi is the second queen to be eliminated this season, following Versex's exit in episode 3.

"Drag Race Philippines" drops new episodes every Wednesday on HBO Go and Wow Presents Plus.
