SB19's Josh Cullen drops new single 'Silent Cries'

Josh Cullen turned vulnerable in his new solo single “Silent Cries.”

In the pop-rock track, the SB19 member reflects on being stuck in a negative cycle. Josh sings about being lost but not wanting to be found, and how he has “been drowning in the dark, wish I could find the light through silent cries.”

“Silent Cries” is the first single from Josh Cullen’s upcoming debut solo album, “Lost & Found” which comes out on September 6.

Josh debuted as a solo artist in 2023 with the single “Wild Tonight.” More of his songs include “Get Right,” “Sumaya,” and “Pakiusap Lang.”

Last June, Josh was one of the special guests of “Running Man Philippines.”

In July, Josh performed at the ROUND Festival 2024 in Korea. He also made his debut on GRAMMYs Global Spin Live, the Recording Academy’s digital series that features performances from artists around the world.

Meanwhile, SB19 is fresh from Billboard Korea’s Billboard K Power 100 event in Seoul, South Korea held early this week. The group performed their megahit “Gento” and was among the recipients of the Voices of Asia Award.

The band’s “PAGTATAG! The Documentary” premiered in Philippine cinemas on August 28 and will screen until September 1.
