SB19, BINI to perform, receive award at Billboard K Power 100 in Seoul

SB19 and BINI are all set to bring the P-Pop energy to Seoul, South Korea!

The P-Pop Kings and the Nation’s Girl Group will attend and perform at the Billboard K Power 100 event, presented by Billboard Korea. It will take place on August 27 at the Yeong Bin Gwan Hall of The Shilla Seoul.

The groups were chosen to grace the event by Billboard Philippines.

SB19 is expected to deliver another fiery performance of their top hit “Gento,” while BINI will perform dance with their new chart-topping single “Cherry on Top.”

Both groups will also receive the special award Voices of Asia. According to Billboard Philippines, this “will honor their groundbreaking contributions to Filipino music and their unwavering championing of P-pop on the global stage.”

Top K-Pop artists, Brazilian pop star Luísa Sonza, Billboard executives, and industry leaders are also expected to attend.

SB19 won the Billboard Fan Army Face-Off 2024 on Friday morning. They were also the first cover stars of Billboard Philippines in 2023, and the first Filipino artists to be nominated for Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards in 2021.

Meanwhile, BINI is fresh from their performance at this year’s KCON LA, held early this month.

The ladies are all set to have the two-night Grand BINIverse concert at the Araneta Coliseum on November 16 and 17. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
