Mimiyuuuh is a mood in resurfaced vlog with EJ Obiena and Alyssa Valdez

EJ Obiena is the current darling of the internet, what with his incredible showing at the Paris Olympics, his demonstrated graciousness, and his good looks and seemingly healthy long-term relationship with German athlete Caroline Joyeux. 

So it came as no surprise that volleyball player Alyssa Valdez's nine-month-old vlog with EJ and content creator Mimiyuuuh resurfaced and trended on Philippine social media.

In the vlog, the video went on slow-mo as Mimiyuuuh instinctively looked at EJ when Alyssa asked her for her type in men. It went on back to normal speed as the group laughed heartily. 

"Ay, andiyan yung girlfriend. Hi Germany!" Mimiyuuuh said. Ever the good guy, EJ laughed along.

Alyssa shared the clip on Facebook, where it's already generated more than 51K likes and and over 5K shares.

"Taas kamay if same kayo ng type ni Mimi," Alyssa wrote, thanking X user @starlight_0807 for reminding her of the clip.

The world no. 2 finished fourth at the recently concluded Paris Olympics. It was leaps better than his 11th place finish at the Tokyo Olympics but EJ thought to apologize after falling short of a podium finish. His graciousness endeared himself even more to the Filipino people.

EJ arrived back in Manila on Tuesday night along with two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, and bronze-winner boxers Nesthy Petacio and Aira Villegas.
