Kim Seon Ho stars in new Disney+ spy-thriller series 'The Tyrant'
Kim Seon Ho is currently starring in new Disney+ series "The Tyrant."
A spy-thriller series, "The Tyrant" is directed by Park Joon Hung and also stars Cha Seung Won, Kim Kang Woo, and Jo Yoon Soo.
In an interview with Nelson Canlas for GMA Integrated News, Kim Seon Ho said he worked with the director several times before and talked about the series.
"I love the action and dynamics between the character in this show and even before I got the script Director Park told me the narrative and the story line and I knew it will be amazingly fun," said the actor, who is known for his roles in "Hometown Cha-cha-cha," "Start-Up," and "The Childe."
Kim Kang Woo, who previously starred in "Artificial City" and "Woman of 9.9 Billion," said his role involves speaking plenty of English lines.
"I'm supposed to be this person who lived in the US so my pronunciation should be of a US person so I tried hard so i could sound natural," he said.
Jo Yoon Soo, meanwhile, said it was an honor to work with her co-stars and that she was a huge fan of them all growing up.
"Just the thought of working alongside them made me have butterflies in my stomach and they were so nice to me and they all looked after me and they would encourage me and give me a lot of advice regarding acting," said the actress, who previously appeared in "True Beauty."
Cha Seung Won, who is known for his roles in "Our Blues" and "A Korean Odyssey," expressed hope to visit the Philippines to meet his fans.
"If there's an opportunity, I'd love to go. We now live in an era where the global community can enjoy a TV show altogether simultaneously so I'd love to go," he said.
"The Tyrant" was released on Disney+ on Wednesday.
