A crafts fair is happening in Mandaluyong this weekend

A crafts fair featuring some of the best artisans and crafters in the metro? Yes, please!

The Podium Crafts Fair is happening this weekend, Aug. 17 and 18, at the Atrium in The Podium, Mandaluyong City.

The Podium Crafts Fair, organized by creative events group Puesto Creative Services and The Podium mall, promises to bring unique and local handmade products to the fore, from upcycled pieces, ceramics, and accessories, to clothes, candles, artworks, fragrances, and more.

Eco-conscious fashionistas can look forward to the stylish sling bags, totes, and wallets made from deadstock fabrics by KLST Lifestyle, as well as Craftcha's airy and tropical basic pieces made from recycled flour sacks.

Those who love jewelry and knickknacks can also check out Sheilla Creates' eye-catching trinkets and baubles, polymer clay jewelry by Clayground Beyond, and accessories by Babaylan Treasures, South Sea Gems, and DS Jewelry.

For those in search of new artsy pieces to dot their home, there will be portraits made of LEGO-compatible bricks by Teky Portraits, paper quill products by Artsy Hub, wood art prints from 8 Crayons Philippines, and dreamcatchers and crocheted pieces from Dreams2Catch and Itsmecrochet.

Odangputik's unique pottery and ceramic pieces will also figure at the crafts fair, as well as fragrant candles, oil-based sprays, and soaps by Casa Artisano.

The Podium Crafts Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both days.
