5 NCT Dream B-sides to listen to before their 'The Dream Show 3' concert in Manila

NCT Dream is back for a two-night show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City this the weekend!

Before their much-awaited show, here are five side tracks from their discography that you might want to listen to as you make your way to D-day.

Fireflies

“Fireflies” is one of the many English songs in NCT Dream’s discography. Released in 2019, the song is a collaboration with the World Scout Foundation after the group was chosen as the organization's first global ambassador.

The track’s lyrics send a hopeful message that together, we can light up the world if we believe.

Like We Just Met

NCT Dream has a number of good ballads in their discography, and “Like We Just Met” is certainly one of their best.

Released in 2023 as the last track of their album “ISTJ,”  the ballad is written by all members of the group and expresses the group's desire to stay with their fans forever.

Graduation

“Graduation” is an R&B song that is part of their 2022 winter album “Candy.” Probably one of the most unforgettable songs of the album, the track was considered as the standout track of the album by Jeff Benjamin of Billboard.

The song is about NCT Dream’s graduation from graduation conception.

In case you didn’t know, the seven-piece group was originally launched as the teenage unit of the NCT brand, and has an admissions and graduation process that requires members to depart the group once they turn 20. But this rule has been changed since their rebranding in 2020.

Trigger The Fever

Perhaps one of the most iconic B-sides in NCT Dream’s discography, “Trigger The Fever” is an upbeat song that easily energizes the crowd.

It was released in 2017 as part of their album “We Young” and was their first ever promotional song as collaboration with FIFA to become the official soundtrack of the FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017.

Dive Into You

We will dive into you, Dreamies!

From one iconic B-side to another is “Dive Into You” released in 2021 as the third track of their million-selling album “Hot Sauce.”

According the group, the R&B pop song expresses the relationship between "me and you" in relation to the whale and the sea, vividly expressing the desire to fall deeply into your arms as a whale swims in the sea. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
