K-pop star Hyolyn holds photoshoot at sari-sari store for upcoming single 'Wait'

Looks like K-pop star Hyolyn is into it! In photos posted on her Instagram, Hyolyn could be seen posing with a Filipino sari-sari store in the background.

The singer wore a yellow and ivory cover-up over a teal bikini. Hyolyn also sat on a bright monobloc stool, and her background featured some classic Pinoy products and vegetables displayed palengke-style.

According to Hyolyn’s Instagram caption, the photoshoot was done to promote her upcoming single, “Wait,” which drops on August 12.

Filipino fans in the comments section were so happy to see Hyolyn’s shoot, and also joined in on the fun.

“Uy! Pilipins hahahaha whoever’s tindahan is this is so lucky to feature Hyolyn!” a fan said.

Another supporter said, “Ate, pabili pong banana ketchup.”

Hyolyn was a member of the K-pop girl group Sistar and its subunit Sistar19 until their disbandment in 2017. She founded the record label Brid3, and officially started work with the label in 2018.

Last January, Sistar19 released their comeback single, “No More (Ma Boy)."
