The "Voltes V: Legacy" robot figure will finally be available for pre-orders starting August 1!

Japanese action figure brand Tamashii Nations announced the news on its website on Thursday, with the toy robot priced at 11,000 yen (approximately P4,230) inclusive of tax.

The product will be released on February 2025.

"The legendary super robot is now back in action thanks to the overwhelming love of the Philippines!" the website said.

The robot includes the main body, three pairs of interchangeable hands, electromagnetic top, electromagnetic whip, Voltes Bazooka, and of course, the Laser Sword. It is approximately 155 mm tall.

Toy manufacturer Bandai first announced the "Voltes V: Legacy" figure at the Tamashii Nations exhibit last year.

"Voltes V: Legacy," which originally aired on GMA Prime last year, is currently enjoying a re-run on GMA Afternoon Prime weekdays at 4:30 p.m. after "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

The "Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience" will also be released in Japan on October 18. The film, which has been re-edited and remastered, will be available in both Japanese subtitled and dubbed versions.

Director Mark Reyes was recently in Japan for a press tour in support of the film.
