'Dune: Prophecy' puts the spotlight on the Bene Gesserit in new teaser

"Dune: Prophecy" is set to unravel the mystery that is the Bene Gesserit.

The show's new teaser shows the sisterhood's "fragile" grasp on power as they've made it their mission to "serve the Great Houses."

"The more influence our sisterhood gains, the more enemies we make," they said.

The events of "Dune: Prophecy" takes place 10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atreides, the main character of the "Dune" films. The series follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.

It will stream on HBO GO starting November.
