'Stranger Things' shares exciting peek at Season 5, which is 'halfway through filming'

"Stranger Things" is halfway through filming its fifth and final season!

Netflix just released a behind-the-scenes reel, and it brings fans back to Hawkins High School.

The video shows the cast gathered together for their takes, with the actors promising a "big" season as they hit the halfway mark in filming.

"So I started when I was 10," said lead actress Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven). "I'm now turning 20 years old. Feels very weird."

Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, said he's excited to have scenes with the "original four" — that is, his onscreen buddies Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson).

For Matarazzo, returning to film the fifth season feels like "home."

"You remember why you're doing it and how much fun you have," he said.

"Stranger Things" Season 5 officially began production in January.

In August 2023, the writers of the series kicked off the writing process and even shared a sneak peek of the script in November. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
