'Blue Lock The Movie - Episode Nagi' is coming to Philippine cinemas this July
“Blue Lock The Movie - Episode Nagi” is set to screen in Philippine cinemas on July 31, Medialink Philippines announced.
It will be screened in Japanese with English subtitles, the announcement added.
"Get ready to witness the Awakening of the Genius when BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE?-EPISODE NAGI- hits the big screen on July 31st in the Philippines," they said on Facebook.
More details on its Philippine premiere have yet to be announced.
Directed by Shunsuke Ishikawa, “Blue Lock The Movie - Episode Nagi” opened in Japan in April and ranked No. 2 in the Japanese box office in its opening weekend.
It stars Nobunaga Shimazaki as Seishir? Nagi, Y?ma Uchida as Reo Mikage, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Zantetsu Tsurugi, and Kazuki Ura as Yoichi Isagi.
"Blue Lock" is based on the manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It has been serialized at the Weekly Sh?nen Magazine since 2018.
The story follows Yoichi Isagi, a football player who joins the program Blue Lock led by Ego Jinpachi, in his quest to become the best striker in the world.
