'Captain America: Brave New World': Anthony Mackie takes up the shield in official teaser

Anthony Mackie takes up the Captain America shield as he gears up for his own solo Marvel movie!

In the official teaser for "Captain America: Brave New World," Mackie's Sam Wilson steps into his role as the new Captain America just as Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) becomes president of the United States. Ross expresses intent on having Captain America work with the government.

A threat comes in the form of a supersoldier attacking the president.

"You may be Captain America, but you're not Steve Rogers," Ross says.

"You're right, I'm not," Wilson responds.

He's then shown flying through the air with his Falcon wings while carrying the shield.

Sam Wilson was last seen in "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," which concluded Steve Rogers' (Chris Evans) era and paved the way for Falcon to shine as the new Captain America. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
