Ez Mil features on new Eminem song 'Head Honcho,' raps in Tagalog
Eminem dropped his newest album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)” on Friday, and it has a song featuring Filipino-American rapper Ez Mil.
Titled “Head Honcho,” the track is all about how Eminem is still the top rapper in the game. Ez Mil opens the song with two verses, and sings the first chorus. Ez Mil even raps a diss verse in Tagalog.
“The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)” is Eminem’s 12th studio album, and is a concept album made to be listened to in order. His last release was "The Marshall Mathers" LP 2 (Expanded Edition) in 2023, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of its original release.
Ez Mil was signed to Eminem and Dr. Dre’s music labels, Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records in 2023. Eminem first heard the Filipino-American rapper’s music, which he brought to Dr. Dre before signing him.
That same year, Ez Mil’s released the album “DU4LI7Y: REDUX” under the labels.
Eminem and Ez Mil previously collaborated on the track “Realest,” which marked the Fil-Am rapper’s debut on the Billboard charts.
Ez Mil, whose real name is Ezekiel Miller, was born in Olongapo but is currently based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He rose to fame in 2021 for his viral hit, “Panalo (Trap Carinosa).” He was previously signed with Virgin Music. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
