'Kimi ni Todoke' Season 3 drops new trailer

Netflix just released a new trailer for "Kimi ni Todoke" Season 3!

It contained a preview of the events that will happen in the lives of Sawako, Kazehaya, and their friends as they continue their high school days.

The gang will go on a school trip to Okinawa, someone will confess to Ryu, and Ayane will reveal her dating struggles. Sawako and Kazehaya will also navigate their early days as a couple.

"Kimi ni Todoke" Season 3 will stream on Netflix on August 1. The first two seasons are already available on the platform.

Based on a manga of the same name by Karuho Shiina, "Kimi ni Todoke" first aired in 2009 and a second season followed in 2011.

The manga was published by Shueisha in 2005 and was completed in 2017. It was also adapted into a live action film in 2010 and a Netflix live action series last year.

The story follows a girl named Sawako, who got mistaken for the horror character Sadako by her classmates and ended up being alienated in school. She begins to change after meeting the popular Kazehaya and her kind friends Chizuru and Ayane.
