Zild drops 2 new singles, to release new album 'Superpower' in August
Zild is back!
The OPM artist dropped two new singles off his upcoming album "Superpower."
"Lia," which was released on Wednesday, Zild tells a personal story about falling for somebody he met through his career as a musician and that he is ready to love again.
Meanwhile, "Segurista," which was released in June, marked Zild's new era. It discusses the hits and misses of love, with Zild right in between wanting to fall in love but also having the need to protect himself.
"Superpower" comes out on August 9. Zild said of his upcoming album on Instagram, "Sobrang excited na ako na marinig niyo mga bago kong kuwento at kung sino ako ngayon."
"Salamat sa mga naghintay. Nakakakaba pero nakakaexcite," he added. "Araw-araw na magpapasalamat. Labyu all."
"Superpower" is Zild's fourth album. His last release, "Medisina," dropped in 2022.
His top hits include "Kyusi," "Ibang Planeta," "Medisina," "Dasal/Kasal," and "Isang Anghel."
Before pursuing a solo career, Zild was the bassist and a vocalist of IV of Spades. The band has been on hiatus since 2020.
