‘Drag Race Philippines’ S3 teases fierce and edgy look for host Paolo Ballesteros

The Season 3 of “Drag Race Philippines” (DRPH) is coming soon, and the Emmy award-winning reality drag series dropped a teaser on Wednesday morning.

On Instagram, DRPH shared Paolo Ballesteros’s new look for its third edition, where she served a fierce and edgy look in a red wig and a black and white outfit bedazzled with gems.

“Third time’s the charm, racers,” DRPH wrote in the caption.

“#DragRacePH host Paolo Ballesteros returns to crown the Philippines’ Next Drag Superstar in Season 3, coming soon to Wow Present Plus!” it added, tagging the Filipino host.

Paolo posted the same photo on his Instagram account and said "Your Queen-ang-inang Host is back*la."

"San ko ba nalagay yung pamalo ko?" Paolo added, before revealing his excitement at the franchise's return: "#DragRacePH Season 3, HERE WE GO!"  

DRPH announced it was renewed for Season 3 in October 2023, two weeks after “Drag Race Philippines” season 2 crowned Captivating Katkat as the winner.

Precious Paula Nicole was hailed as the first-ever drag superstar of the Philippines in 2022, when DRPH first streamed, and raised drag representation in the country.
