Ariana Grande announces 'The Boy is Mine' remix with Brandy and Monica

Ariana Grande is collaborating with her fellow queens of pop, Brandy and Monica!

The R&B singers will join Ariana for a remix of “The Boy is Mine,” named after their 90s hit. Brandy and Monica also made cameos in Ariana’s music video as newscasters.

Ariana couldn’t hide her excitement about the remix on Instagram, saying,“[I] cannot believe this is real (I don’t know if I will even long after it’s out).”

The “Dangerous Woman” hitmaker gushed over Brandy and Monica for their generosity and kindness in joining her for the project, and for how they influenced her music career.

“It is near impossible to say how much this means to me,” Ariana wrote.

“This is in celebration of you both and the impact that you have had on every vocalist, vocal producer, musician, artist that is creating today,” she added. “I loooooove you both so so much. Thank you !!!!!!!”

“The Boy is Mine” is part of Ariana’s comeback album “eternal sunshine,” released in March. It also includes the singles, “yes, and?” and “we can't be friends (wait for your love).”

Her last album “Positions” was released in 2020. She briefly returned to music as part of The Weeknd’s “Die For You” remix, which dropped in 2023. Ariana also released the 10th-anniversary edition of her debut album “Yours Truly” later that same year.

She is starring in the magical film “Wicked” as Glinda, the Good Witch.
