Kylie Padilla steps into her 'Encantadia' role as Amihan in makeup transformation video
Kylie Padilla brought back her "Encantadia" role as Amihan in a makeup transformation video.
On Instagram, Sunday, the Kapuso actress accepted Gabbi Garcia's challenge to reprise her role on social media through the TikTok makeup transformation trend.
In the video, Kylie transformed into Amihan with the iconic theme song of "Encantadia" playing in the background.
Tagging Gabbi in the caption, Kylie wrote, "Challenge accepted my dear Alena."
"The blue one, e corrie diu Amihan," she added. "I just needed any excuse to step into her shoes again."
She also challenged Glaiza de Castro and Sanya Lopez to bring back their characters, Pirena and Danaya through the makeup transformation trend.
It was Gabbi who started the "Encantadia" trend on social media, following the "Asoka" and "Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas" makeup transformation challenges.
"Sang'gre," an "Encantadia" spinoff, is set to premiere this year. It stars Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Angel Guardian, and Kelvin Miranda.
Rhian Ramos is also joining the series as Mitena, the twin of Solenn Heussaff's character Cassiopea. Glaiza, Sanya, and Rocco Nacino are also returning as Sang'gre Pirena, Sang'gre Danaya, and Mashna Aquil, respectively.
